MB Joint Key

The Meadow Burke Joint Key is a roll formed galvanized steel section used as a leave-in-place formwork to control shrinkage induced concrete cracking. The Joint Key profile is fixed in place using Meadow Burke’s unique convolute-reinforced joint stake with integral keyway stops that eliminate undesirable floating on the stake, minimizing high spots.

The tongue and groove profile provides positive load transfer and helps prevents uneven settling of slab at control joints. On-center cut outs accommodate dowels for applications with high load transfer requirements.

Joint Key is available in 10 foot lengths and heights of 3 1/2”, 4 1/2”, and 5 1/2” for use in 4”, 5”, and 6” on-grade concrete floor slabs.
