MBT Coupler
MBT couplers provide an easy to install, cost-effective method of joining reinforcing bars, particularly when the fixed bar is already in place and space is limited.
Tightening of the shear bolts embeds the conical ends into the rebar, securing it against the serrated saddles.
When the predetermined tightening torque is reached, the bolt heads shear off, providing an instant visual check of correct installation.
