PD-13 Dowel Cap

Meadow Burke PD-13 Dowel Caps are designed to allow movement of dowels in expansion joints for concrete paving applications.

PD-13s are manufactured from recycled plastic polymers. The dowel caps are produced with an open cavity, stop ribs and a closed end, which allows for the insertion of a smooth or deformed rebar dowel.

PD-13 Dowel Caps provide approximately 3” of cover for the end of a smooth dowel or rebar.

PD-13 Dowel Caps are also designed to stop the end of the bar at least 1 inch from the closed end of the sleeve and shall not collapse during concrete placement.
